Founder, Lead Therapist & ADHD Coach
Hi, I’m Megan—a Pleasanton native, former teacher, and proud owner of Atascosa Counseling & Consultation Services. I grew up and still live in rural South Texas, so I understand the unique challenges our neighbors face. I also understand ADHD from the inside out: I have it, and so do most of my family members. That lived experience drives my passion for helping teens, adults, and couples turn “busy brains” into real‑life progress.
Why clients say we click:
Down‑to‑earth expertise. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in ADHD assessment and treatment, with 15 years in education before opening ACCS.
Whole‑person approach. We blend proven methods—CBT, DBT, Solution‑Focused Therapy, and The Gottman Method—with coaching skills that strengthen everyday habits.
Local roots, real results. From Pleasanton to Poteet and the south side of San Antonio, I’m committed to making quality care easy to reach through in‑person, outdoor, and telehealth sessions.
Goal‑oriented mindset. Whether you’re tackling anxiety, depression, ADHD, sports performance, or relationship stress, we set clear goals and celebrate every win—big or small.
A few fun facts
Coffee fuels my morning brainstorms.
Audiobooks and podcasts keep me learning on the go.
Family time (often on the sidelines of local games—my husband’s a coach!) is my favorite reset button.
If you’re ready for a supportive partner who “gets it” and will cheer you on every step of the way, I’d be honored to meet you. Click below to schedule, or call our office—your next chapter starts here.
