Atascosa Counseling and Consultation Services is seeking a caring, dependable, and detail-oriented Client Experience Assistant to support our growing counseling practice in Pleasanton, Texas.
We are a group private practice for mental health counseling currently located in Atascosa County, and we take pride in creating a calm, welcoming, and professional environment for our clients, clinicians, and staff.
This role is ideal for someone who is kind, organized, somewhat tech savvy, and able to help clients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Position Details
Position Title: Client Experience Assistant
Position Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
2nd Saturday of every month, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Approximately 12 hours per week
Pay review after 6 months based on experience and performance
What You’ll Help With
The Client Experience Assistant will help support the flow, organization, and welcoming atmosphere of the office. Responsibilities may include:
Greeting clients warmly and professionally
Helping maintain a peaceful, calm, and inviting waiting room
Answering basic inquiry calls using approved office information
Preparing therapy offices for client sessions
Restocking forms, stickers, supplies, coffee bar items, paper towels, and other office materials
Helping with new client intake checklists
Filing, scanning, and organizing documents
Light office cleaning, including vacuuming and end-of-day readiness
Helping ensure the office is ready for the next business day
What This Role Does Not Include
This position does not independently handle insurance billing, claims follow-up, collections, clinical questions, medication questions, or treatment decisions. Those responsibilities remain with trained ACCS staff.

Familiarity with Google Workspace or shared electronic files
Experience answering phones or greeting clients professionally

Edging sidewalks, curbs, and landscaped areas
Blowing leaves, grass, and debris from walkways and parking areas
Watering plants and helping maintain landscaping
Picking up debris and keeping the property clean and welcoming
Small repairs and light maintenance tasks
Pressure washing as needed
Reporting maintenance concerns before they become costly problems
All tools and equipment needed for the position can be provided by ACCS.

Atascosa Counseling and Consultation Services is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist with experience or specialized training in trauma-informed bodywork, trauma release massage, and deep tissue massage to provide quarterly on-site massage services for our team.
ACCS is a group mental health counseling practice located in Pleasanton, Texas. Our clinicians provide trauma-informed care to clients across rural South Texas, and we believe staff wellness is essential to ethical, sustainable, high-quality clinical work.
About the Opportunity
This is a contract position for a massage therapist who is available to come to our office quarterly on a Saturday or Sunday to provide massage services for ACCS staff, especially our clinicians.
We are also interested in offering clients the opportunity to schedule therapeutic massage services during these quarterly visits, as appropriate and within the provider’s scope of practice. Client-facing services would need to be handled with clear professional boundaries, informed consent, scheduling procedures, and compliance with applicable licensing requirements.
Massage therapy in Texas is regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and ACCS will require verification of current licensure before contracting.
Ideal Provider
The ideal contractor will have:
Current Texas licensure as a massage therapist
Training or demonstrated experience in trauma-informed massage therapy, trauma release bodywork, deep tissue massage, somatic bodywork, or related modalities
A working understanding of how trauma may be held in the body, including concepts commonly discussed in The Body Keeps the Score
Independent professional liability insurance
Ability to provide services on-site at our Pleasanton office on a quarterly basis
Strong professional boundaries and comfort working around mental health professionals and trauma survivors
A calm, respectful, client-centered presence
Willingness to coordinate scheduling with ACCS leadership in advance of each quarterly visit
Contractor Responsibilities
The selected contractor would be responsible for:
Providing professional, therapeutic massage services to ACCS staff during scheduled quarterly wellness days
Offering trauma-informed, body-aware care that respects each person’s emotional and physical comfort level
Maintaining all required professional licensure, insurance, and documentation
Bringing any required massage equipment and supplies, unless otherwise arranged
Following all applicable laws, ethical standards, and professional boundaries
Coordinating with ACCS regarding schedule availability, service length, fees, and client sign-up options
Providing services as an independent contractor, not as an employee of ACCS
Schedule
Services would be offered quarterly, preferably on a Saturday or Sunday. Exact dates and times will be arranged in advance based on provider availability and ACCS scheduling needs.

Atascosa Counseling & Consultation Services, a group private practice serving Atascosa County, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a clinician who values meaningful in-person work, community impact, and a supportive team environment in rural South Texas.
We are currently hiring a 1099 contractor position with the opportunity for increased hours and consideration for transition to W2 employment after 6 months based on performance, caseload growth, and overall fit with the practice.
Position Details
Part-time schedule (approximately 10–15 client hours weekly to start)
Primarily afternoon/evening availability required along with 2nd & 4th Saturdays (mid-morning/early afternoon)
In-person sessions at our Pleasanton office
Telehealth used only on a temporary or case-by-case basis
Work with adolescents and/or adults depending on current intake/community needs
